Adult Education program premieres two short fims on domestic violence

The Adult Education Program of Union Settlement Association, in conjunction with the local television series, We Are New York, premiered two short films: "Shadow" and "Mama Escuchame: La Trajedia de Dianita," on THURSDAY JANUARY 21ST, AT 6:30 P.M. in the UNION SETTLEMENT AUDITORIUM, 237 East 104th Street, in East Harlem. "We are very pleased to present a community screening of these films," said Melissa Nieves, Director of Adult Education. "They were created, and include performances, by our adult education students who chose to dramatize issues related to domestic violence and raise awareness on this controversial topic."
