Book Party & Poetry Reading
April 29th
Come join the Adult Education program in celebrating the publication of Speaking for Ourselves, our 2009-2010 student anthology of poetry and narrative writing.
The party is taking place on Thursday, April 29th, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the nearby East Harlem Cafe on 104th and Lexington. Hear the students read their works while enjoying the finely brewed coffee and teas of our favorite local cafe.
The event will be hosted by Nuyorican poet Jesus Papoleto Melendez, and is offered in conjuction with the 92nd Street YMCA. Open to the public.
