Thanksgiving at Union Settlement
November 26th
This year Union Settlement distributed more than one hundred turkeys and hens with fresh vegetables and other fixings to needy families in our Early Childhood, Youth and Adult Education programs. Our seniors program served more than 500 meals on Thanksgiving day. These efforts were assisted by 80 volunteers including two well known film actors, Kathleen Turner and her daughter, Rachel Weiss. The New York Daily News covered their participation.
