With appropriate health measures in place—our summer camps are open for children ages five through twelve!

Children have been stuck in their homes for months. The pressures on East Harlem parents have been enormous. Economic, health and racial upheavals in the community have added to their already challenging circumstances. The opportunity for kids to play outside and enjoy healthy recreation and learning are more important this summer than ever before.

At Union Settlement, free day camp programs are provided for hundreds of East Harlem children from kindergarten through 5th grade.

These programs keep kids safe, engaged, and occupied in positive and productive activities. Parents can work, seek employment or care for other family members knowing that their children are learning and avoiding distractions that can so easily derail them from the path to future success.
